Alto Golf Pestana Golf Resort - a lovely 18 hole, par 72 course designed by Sir Henry Cotton, with elevated greens and challenges along the course. Home to one of the longest par 5 in Europe.

Located next to the lovely fishing village of Alvor, Alto Golf has been part of the Pestana Golf Resorts portfolio since 2011. Known for the excellent maintenance at all Pestana courses, Alto Golf is a challenging but rewarding course to play.

This is the last course designed by golf great Sir Henry Cotton, whose focus was always on playability and challenges to suit a range of levels. Alto Golf is home to one of the longest par 5 in Europe, known as the Sir Henry Challenge - 591m from the mens' tee. The elevated greens, dog-legs, strategically placed bunkers and trees make for an interesting course.

The Alto Golf Club House offers a full range of services - everything from club hire to catering services for private parties. Given the fabulous views from the Club House overlooking the 3rd fairway, Alto Golf is a popular venue for events, parties and weddings.
