Hand-painted Ceramics at Côrte Real Gallery

Exclusively at Côrte Real, unique ceramic pieces by Rute Dias. Wild flowers implanted on soft clay, glazed, hand-painted and glazed again, resulting in unique designs with vibrant colours. Each item is one of a kind.

Côrte Real Gallery is also one of a kind. Hidden away in the Algarve countryside, the rustic exterior hides an absolute treasure trove of vibrant colours and beautiful art by national and international artists. Each piece on display has been carefully considered and choosen, reflecting the passion of the gallery's owner, Michael and Pedro.

The lastest collection of ceramics is by artist and ceramicist Rute Dias. Wild flowers and foliage are imprinted into soft clay. When the impression is made, the flowers are removed and clay is glazed, hand-painted in the vibrant colours of nature, then glazed again.
Each piece is unique, different moments of nature engraved in clay.
