Let yourself be driven northwards, off‑road through the countryside, while your driver/guide tells you all about the local flora, fauna, and the history and culture of the area. Learn more about cork by visiting a cork oak tree at one of the country’s finest cork‑harvesting sites. Discover the Algarve’s countryside once again through its traditions and incredible views, with your jeep driver as the “storyteller.” You will pass through the interior villages of the region and visit the most typical village of all – Alte. Explore the little fountain, the narrow streets, the whitewashed houses, and the traditional chimneys. Then enjoy a visit to a distillery farm, where you can taste the famous medronho (firewater) and local honey. Afterwards, we continue our journey through the farmlands of Picota.
