Ria Formosa features a dynamic natural environment influenced by tidal changes of approximately 3 meters every 6 hours. This creates a self-regenerating ecosystem that supports local fishing and shellfish harvesting, providing food sources for migratory birds that return annually.
During the tour, you can watch predatory birds hunting and navigate a maze of tranquil canals, accompanied only by the sounds of bird calls. The tour ends with a return boat ride to the original departure point.
