Description
Embark on an unforgettable jeep tour through the rugged and scenic south-western Algarve. Our adventure begins at Ponta da Gaivota, where a dramatic rocky outcrop creates a natural pathway leading down to the sea. From here, we head to the tranquil village of Praia da Luz, a peaceful destination with charming streets and stunning coastal views. Next, we explore Burgau, a traditional fishing village marking the start of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, known for its unspoiled beauty. The tour continues to the ruins of Almadena Fort, a historic site that showcases the region’s maritime heritage and strategic importance. We then make our way to Salema Beach, where you’ll witness the local fishing boats returning to shore, with their fresh catch later served in nearby restaurants. Continuing along the coast, we stop in Sagres to see the Lighthouse of Cape St. Vincent, located at the westerly point of Europe, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Our next stop is Pedralva, a village recently restored to preserve the Algarve’s rural charm and traditional architecture.
