The Ria Formosa Restaurant is located on the top floor of the Hotel Faro and aside from very tasty food, offers fabulous views of Faro marina, the historical town centre and the Ria Formosa, not to mention the planes coming in to land at Faro airport.
A relaxed and casual restaurant, the food at Ria Formosa is very good and very well priced. With an emphasis on using local produce and with some great traditional Portuguese and Algarve dishes, both lunch and dinner here are great options. The restaurant is very popular with locals for business lunches, for a quick bite between shopping. And given it's proximity to Faro airport and the lovely views, it is a great place to while away some time while waiting for your flight.
