Euro Pet Transport is a family run business with over 10 years experience in providing safe and happy journeys for cats and dogs between Portugal, the UK, Spain and France. The pets' comfort, tranquility and safety is the foremost concern and the pets are never left alone throughout the journey.

How your pets are transported to and from the UK
ith many expats moving to the Algarve, and a growing population of people who split their time between Portugal and the UK, the pet transport service ensures that beloved four-legged family members don't get left behind.

• Each pet carrier is equipped with thick vet bedding, food and water and each pet travels in its own individual carrier, unless a family of pets is travelling together.
• Members of PIF - Pet Industry Federation - and Defra registered, Euro Pet Transport offers routes from Portugal to the UK and back again.
• There are several pick-up points in the Algarve, from Portimão to Loulé, as well as a pick-up point in Lisbon.
• There are several stops during the journey for walks and play as well as food. Each journey has a driver and a first aid qualified pet carer and the team stays in contact with pet owners throughout the journey.
• The vehicles used are Defra compliant and they are open compartment so that the pets and humans can communicate and see each other at all times.
• Once in the UK, there are drop-off and pick up spots in both the North and South.
• Pick-up and drop-off locations can also be arranged in Spain and France.

Euro Pet Transport works alongside a range of animal rescue centres in Portugal and the UK and as a rule, 25% of the pets transported on each run are rescue dogs and cats heading to their new homes.
