Adventure Golf Alvor has a 'Lost World - Jurassic Park' theme and there are plenty of dinosaurs about. They are huge, colourful and look amazing. All the dino stars are there including velociraptors and T-Rex, some are even hatching out of their eggs! They overlook the adventure golf course, lurking by the holes, adding to the fun.
The 18 hole course is suitable for all ages and skill levels and it’s not as easy as you might think. For sure, it will be one of the things the kids will love to do in the Algarve. At each hole you can opt for a more direct route or take the challenge of the pro route. There are plenty of obstacles on the course too - the raft to pull yourself across a water obstacle is always a hit. Kids love the whole theme, while adults find the course more challenging that they might have thought....game on!
Before or after your game, you can enjoy a cold drink at the bar. There are sunny terraces with sea-views, making them ideal spots for some post-game relaxation.
At Adventure Golf Alvor, it's Pay to Play. If you don't want to play golf, there is no entrance fee - you can simply watch the fun from the bar. As an added bonus, there is some prehistoric style ten-pin bowling and a practice putting green to hone your game before the first tee.
Located just outside Alvor, on the Alvor-Portimão road just behind the petrol station, Adventure Golf Alvor (in partnership with The Black Stove bar) is open every day. You can pre-book your time or simply turn up on the day, however pre-booking is advised for larger groups. Adventure Golf Alvor is a great venue for birthday parties too (not in high season).
